Unknot the day. Move like yourself again.
Unhurried assessments, gentle adjustments and plain-spoken advice for sore backs, stiff necks and joints that have stopped cooperating.
Four steps, every time
Care follows the same clear sequence, so you always know what is happening and why. Nothing is done to you before it has been explained.
-
Step 01
Listen
We start with your story: when it began, what eases it, what makes it worse and what you want to get back to doing.
-
Step 02
Assess
Posture, range of motion, neurological and orthopaedic checks. You'll hear what we found in everyday language.
-
Step 03
Adjust
Gentle, specific adjustments and soft-tissue work, only with your consent. Low-force options are always available.
-
Step 04
Carry on
A short set of home movements and desk tweaks, plus a review point so care winds down rather than running on indefinitely.
Find what sounds like you
A plain guide to the complaints we see most, what we look at and what care tends to involve. Every plan is shaped by your assessment.

What to expect before you arrive
A first visit is mostly conversation and assessment. Treatment only begins once you understand the findings and agree to the plan.
-
Allow about an hour
Roughly forty minutes of history and assessment, then first treatment if it is appropriate.
-
Wear something easy
Loose clothing you can bend and turn in. Gowns are available if you'd prefer.
-
Bring what you have
Any scans, reports or a list of current medication. Nothing is required, but it helps.
-
Ask anything
You can pause, ask for a gentler approach or decline any technique at any point.
Knowing when it isn't for us
Chiropractic care isn't the answer to everything. If your assessment raises any of these, we'll pause and point you to your doctor or urgent care first.
- Recent injury or fall
Significant trauma should be medically checked before any hands-on care.
- Numbness that is spreading
Worsening weakness, numbness or loss of coordination needs prompt medical review.
- Pain with fever or weight loss
Back pain alongside feeling generally unwell is a reason to see your doctor.
- Bladder or bowel changes
New changes with back pain are an emergency. Seek urgent care straight away.
Before you book
Straight answers to the things people most often ask. Anything else, add it to your request and we'll reply personally.
Does an adjustment hurt?
Most people feel pressure and movement rather than pain. Some feel mild soreness for a day, similar to after a workout. Low-force techniques without the familiar "click" are always an option.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is needed to book. If you are under a specialist's care, let us know and we can share findings with them if you wish.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what we find. You'll get a proposed number of visits and a review point after your assessment, and care is designed to taper off rather than continue indefinitely.
How are fees discussed?
Fees for the first visit and any follow-up plan are explained before treatment starts, so there are no surprises. You're never asked to commit to a long package up front.
Can you help during pregnancy?
Yes. Many people find gentle care helpful for pregnancy-related back and pelvic discomfort. We use supportive positioning and low-force techniques throughout.
Is it suitable for older adults?
Yes, with care adapted to bone health and comfort. We ask about osteoporosis and other conditions, and use gentler methods where appropriate.
What if I'd rather not be adjusted?
That's fine. Soft-tissue work, mobilisation and a tailored exercise plan can be the whole of your care. You decide what happens at every visit.
